I’m Tiffany Termine, a psychological thriller author captivated by the complexities of the human mind. My debut novel, JADED, explores themes of trauma, identity, and the intricate web of relationships. Writing allows me to delve into the raw and emotional aspects of life, aiming to create stories that resonate and connect with readers on a profound level.

My passion for storytelling is deeply intertwined with my ongoing study of psychology, trauma, and healing—particularly attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (parts work), shadow work, and somatic experiencing. I’m drawn to the emotional tension between who we are, who we’ve been, and who we’re trying to become.

Through fiction, I hope to hold space—for readers to feel seen, to explore their own shadows, or simply to understand the people around them a little more. Whether a story hits close to home or offers a window into someone else’s experience, I believe storytelling can be a mirror, a lifeline, and a quiet revolution.

JADED follows a woman on the run—from her past, her pain, and herself—until she’s forced to confront the truth she’s been avoiding. That’s the heart of what I write: not just the thrill of the chase, but the courage it takes to stop running. My work is for anyone brave enough to face what hurts, own their story, and take the first step toward healing—even if that step looks like survival.

My Writing Journey

When I was about four years old, my mom told me it was time to return a couple of library books I had borrowed. But I loved one of them so much, I decided to make my own copy. I grabbed some paper and hand-copied each page, word for word. Then I drew terrible versions of the illustrations, colored them in, and bound it all together with Scotch tape.

And just like that, I had my very own replica.

I don’t remember the title of the book—just that it was about an elephant walking through town, reading signs. But I do remember sitting in my childhood bedroom, holding that taped-up masterpiece and feeling something click.

I didn’t just want to read stories—I wanted to make them.

And so, I do.

With raw honesty and emotional depth, Tiffany Termine explores the fractured parts we hide, the coping mechanisms we cling to, and what it means to come home to yourself—no matter how far you’ve run.
